About Us

We realise that due to living far away from family, many of you may not have met one of us. As a short sneak-peak before we "go on tour" and meet you in person at our wedding parties, here's some more about us...

AKA: the cute things

Sarah

Sarah is… really into her job coordinating government commitments to make all things digital more transparent and accountable, currently obsessed with spinning classes and talking to the dog like she’s a human. She likes to bake a good banana bread and seems to always have five craft projects half completed.

Ollie

Ollie is… really into sustainability and ‘innovative’ tech projects that reduce CO2, currently obsessed with his newest running plan (he hit a sub-3 hour marathon in April ‘25), and also talking to the dog like she’s a human. He likes to cook (particularly Indian food) and always seems to have at least 5 bikes at varying stages of ride-ability in the basement.

Our Story

We met in 2022 after an algorithm designed to keep people on an app as long as possible malfunctioned, and matched us together. Thanks, Bumble.

After texting for two weeks in the midst of busy travel schedules, we found time for a first date of a "Späti beer" and walking around Mauerpark. Indecisive non-foodies, we skipped dinner and opted for more beer instead. Sarah bought the last round, telling Ollie he could pay for the ones on their next date. Cheeky girl.

By the time Ollie got back from his bike trip 3 weeks later, it only took a few more dates to realise this was really happening, and before long, they were planning their first trip to France together.

Fast forward a few years, a few moves, a few travels and one bundle of chaos (dog) later, we decided we wanted to legally tie ourselves together and celebrate with the people we love.

Wedding Ceremony

We’re having a small wedding ceremony in Italy in May 2026, and then we’re excited to return to our various homes to celebrate our marriage with all of our family and friends.
